Join the National Covering Kids & Families Network

We urge you to be a part of the exciting effort to maintain the National Covering Kids & Families Network. The National Covering Kids & Families network is an effort to sustain and build upon the collective expertise of grantees from the national CKF initiative as well as other organizations and partners. The goal of the network is to enhance the capacity of members to advance sound healthcare policies to increase access to quality healthcare coverage and services and reduce the number of uninsured children and families across the nation. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has provided the National CKF network with a two-year grant (February 2007 – January 2009) to support the formation of the network and its activities. Community Health Councils, Inc. (CHC) is serving as the administrative lead. CHC is a non-profit, community-based health advocacy, policy and educational organization based in Los Angeles, California. Since 1998, CHC has served as sponsoring organization for the California Covering Kids & Families project (CKF).

Communication vehicles have been established for Network members that include dissemination of information via CHC's list-serve as well as a Yahoo Group for members to communicate and share information. If you are interested in joining the Network or would like more information, please contact Caroline Rivas at caroline@chc-inc.org or 323-295-9372, ext. 235. Membership forms may be accessed at www.chc-inc.org.
