CKF Delaware County

Grant Overview
Covering Kids & Families of Delaware County is actively working with child care providers, schools and hospitals to strengthen local enrollment and re-enrollment efforts by replicating "best practices" learned by other programs throughout the state. They plan to increase partnerships with "free and reduced lunch programs" and work more closely with DFC and hospital officials to identify eligible families not currently enrolled in Hoosier Healthwise. They also plan to work with hospitals, FQHC, and other coalition members to identify better means to coordinate health services for families who are ineligible or who lose their eligibility for public and private health coverage.
