CKF Lake County

Grant Overview
Covering Kids & Families of Lake County is working closely with the local DFC eligibility office to strengthen coordination of local enrollment and re-enrollment activities. This local project is also working closely with hospitals; pre-natal care providers and early childhood service agencies to improve enrollment and retention of infants and very young children and plans to develop stronger partnerships with all schools and hospitals throughout Lake County, which is the second largest county in Indiana. This local project also plans to identify better means to coordinate health services for children and families ineligible or no longer eligible for existing programs.
