Michigan Center for Rural Health

Grant Overview
The Michigan Center for Rural Health is undertaking retention, simplification, coordination and outreach efforts through Coalition building in select rural communities in Northeastern Michigan. Their activities include: conducting educational seminars for small businesses and farmers; convening problem solving forums with nontraditional community stakeholders; developing individualized plans to identify and remove barriers; and engage rural communities in entering and remaining in the available health coverage programs.
