Southern New Jersey

Grant Overview
The service area of this pilot covers a few urban areas and the most remote and poorest rural parts of seven southern counties of the state, with many immigrant and migrant workers and some of the lowest enrollment rates in the state. Southern NJ Perinatal Cooperative offers training/technical assistance, enrollment assistance training and/or direct outreach and application assistance by Spanish-speaking outreach workers; and it works with the County Boards of Social Services to coordinate transition from one public coverage program to another when families' eligibility changes.
