Nebraska Covering Kids & Families Initiative

Grant Overview
The Nebraska Covering Kids & Families Coalition and pilots are launching efforts to reach all Kids Connection eligible children in the state of Nebraska and improve the accessibility of the Kids Connection program for these children and their families. Although the overall goal is to reach all children, efforts will be targeted at some specific hard-to-reach categories of children. At the statewide level, Voices for Children in Nebraska and coalition partners will focus on three main areas: targeting young children age 0-5, providing culturally competent outreach to racial and ethnic minority children, and increasing private business participation in outreach efforts. In addition to these outreach and enrollment strategies, CKF Nebraska will also work to simplify enrollment and renewal processes where needed.
