Covering Connecticut's Kids and Families

Grant Overview
Connecticut Voices for Children, as lead agency for Covering Connecticut's Kids and Families, has continued the work that began with the Covering Connecticut's Kids initiative to ensure that uninsured children and families obtain health care coverage. The Covering Connecticut's Kids and Families statewide coalition is a diverse group of organizations representing health care providers, advocacy organizations, state agencies, health plans, outreach projects, child care providers, schools and other groups. The coalition has strong support from the Department of Social Services, the lead agency for Medicaid and SCHIP in Connecticut.
